Royal School of Needlework - Raised Work Brooch - 8 & 9 July

The tutor, Kelley Aldridge, takes you step by step through this three-dimensional brooch project from her upcoming RSN book ‘Raised Embroidery’. In this two day class you will create bullion knot roses with needlewoven picot buds and raised leaves surrounded by vermicelli back stitches and a raised stem band border. Full instructions for making up the brooch (or pendant) will be covered. The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day. The class will run from 10am-4pm at the Constant Knitter, 88 Francis Street, Dublin 8.
